We have received sad news from the organisers of Atomic Festival that Sywell Aerodrome has reluctantly taken the decision to postpone events on the airfield due to the ground being water-logged: “Aircraft and vehicles cannot currently use the grass areas due to the adverse ground conditions and this means that they cannot erect essential structures such as their big top, marquees, roller rink, drive-in movie, toilets and other features…”
They went on to say: “We are so disappointed that we cannot all enjoy the festival at Sywell next weekend but these circumstances are beyond our control. We apologise wholeheartedly for the inconvenience this may cause.
