American Historics at Brooklands

The inaugural Historics auction held at Brooklands, Surrey (as all Historics’ auctions are) took place on June 2 this year and grossed over £2million from the consignment of 65 cars and automobilia – a great result for a first sale. Of particular note for American auto enthusiasts was the inclusion of an interesting collection of US cars. Sales included:

1969 Camaro 396SS Convertible (£30,000)

Batmobile Promo vehicle: £33,000

1955 Thunderbird Convertible: £12,500

1946 Chrysler New Yorker: £13,200

Interest in Historics’ auctions amongst the US enthusiast community has grown significantly, presumably as a consequence of the first auction and its American content; as a result of which they have a broader and bigger collection of fine US cars for the next auction which takes place on September 25, at Brooklands.
